Coup d'etat, popular uprising, limited engagement, assassination by us or the Mossad - we've got a rich history of regime change to draw from so pick your favorite. The only thing I'll say is that a full military confrontation ala the Gulf War is the best way to seriously fuck up both an ethical and security perspective here. We kill several 9/11s worth of innocents and create a brand new breeding ground for suicide bombers some of whom will find their way here if we go down that road not to mention we turn world opinion even further anti-American. It doesn't take a great thinker to say, "Hey that's pretty fucking stupid right there."

Fuck the weapons of mass destruction pretext - Iraq is currently no danger to us. North Korea could be, though - and why aren't we going after them? Oil is why, and that's why we probably WILL go with the fucking full-scale war with Iraq and ignore the threat of a nation with a serious weapons of mass destruction program, the ability to hit Japan with any they develop, and a standing army of over one million lying on the far side of an incredibly dense minefield.
