GULFWAR

Gulfwar I is a total convertion modification for Half-Life 2. 1980 in middle east a war started between tow countries : Iran and Iraq and lasted for about 7 years. GulfwarI will take the player to a low equipped war fare. It will be realistic and available Multiplayer online, there will be characters, vehicles. game mods are : DM, CTF ,Team DM, others will be added depending on what HL2 engine can do. No single player mod is planned ATM.

Jhoh Cable: This guy was so excited with his original and groundbreaking mod idea that he didn't even stop for a nanosecond to spell check.
Jhoh Cable: How does this guy even know that the HL2 can handle deathmatch AND team deathmatch?
Ray of Light: The rock model is 90% complete. Broken bottle: 40%. Due to realism, the CTF flags are just scraps of clothing torn from blown-off limbs
Fussbett: Yes, I'm not sure "low equipped" should ever be a selling point. Of anything, ever
Fussbett: Reading this mod just makes me depressed. More so.
Ray of Light: We're playing as the U.S. already, by just reading about and not participating.
Jhoh Cable: He's waiting to see if Half-Life 2 can handle pistols only mode (maybe he should e-mail Gabe himself and ask).

Jhoh Cable: I like the name Gulf Warl more than just Gulf War.
Jhoh Cable: I always thought the Gulf War was missing something, and now I know what: an L.
Jhoh Cable: For the longest time, I thought it was the capture of Saddam, but no. :(
Jhoh Cable: Because even after Saddam was captured, I still felt empty inside.

Fussbett: This mod is a bit snarky in the way it points out that our preferred Gulf War is actually Gulf War 2.
Fussbett: This guy likes the original Gulf War, before it sold out and went mainstream.
