Many missions are inherently are chore, but the designers were also nice enough to include a lot of missions with multiple objectives and locations; example (obviously don't read if you don't want SPOILARZ!)
1-drive to the club under the grant bridge
2-OH NOES, the white dude has been kidnapped.
3-drive to the construction site
4-drive to the docks
5-drive to the airport
6-kill the goons
7-blow up the van
8-drive out of the airport
9-make your way to the paint 'n spray in your stupid limo with a 3 star wanted level
Now the great thing about missions like that is that give the high level of freedom and low level of scripted event in GTA, a number of things escaping your power could go wrong at any point!
such has: finding out that the limo has blown tires at #8, or having a police car explode and destroy your car just as you are entering the Paint 'n Spray. I have also heard of many people getting killed by crashing planes... The only similar mission I can think of in previous GTA's is the bank heist in VC, where NPC would randomly get run over by passing cars and such.
Have you taken the gun challenge? "Passing" a stage is only temporary, if you miss any later stage you have to do it all over again.
Having to learn shit sucks ass. Still being a broke ass, gofer niggah after so many missions suck. Catalina, wow, SHUT THE FUCK UP. Giving the player 150 hours of tedious playtime instead of 90 hours of fun: Rockstar at work.
PS: "The Football Factory" was horrible. |
