Two things about the evidence they find. Sometimes they end up actually seeing it visually, like some sort of powder which in reality might be a trace amount, which means that instead of showing an electronic nose which might be cool, we have to just see Caruso seeing the powdered sugar or whatever. The alternative is when they detect invisible evidence, like cleaned up blood, with the old magic swab and liquid dropper that turns the Q tip blue or pink or purple or red depending on what episode they are deciding the color should be. But when they find this stuff, there's always a completely ridiculous CG recreation of the blood or hair or shards of glass or piece of a toenail or tooth or carpet fibers or clothes fibers or perfume molecules get onto the crime scene. That would be sort of okay normally if it was realistic but the molecule or fiber is like 500 times bigger and you can see it fly through the air. MAYBE A GIANT PERFUME MOLECULE SHATTERED THE WINDSHIELD OF THEIR CAR |
