Well in the show it looks like they always put the same stuff (chemicals, DNA stuff) into the same machine. AND THEY EXPECT US NOT TO NOTICE

Also I wonder sometimes if it's legal if they get people's DNA just like that and can search through whatever to get it. They've mentioned CODIS a few times, but there was something I forgot where they do things like try to get a suspect (who won't volunteer DNA) to drink from this delicious coffee cup or whatever. And some other stuff that seemed questionable that I forgot. Oh well.
