Even if we accept your s&m = control equation, the equals sign in there doesn't work like the equals sign you learned about in addition - control doesn't necessarily = s&m. What you're saying is that there's no difference between cops arresting criminals and cops arresting just any ol' person they feel like arresting: BOTH GROUPS OF COPS WANT TO WHIP EACH OTHER AND ORGASM.


I think what he's suggesting, and correct me if I'm wrong, is that both cops may be motivated by similar impulses. How they choose to go about satisfying those impulses is what separates the Jedi from the... jesus, what's the nerdagory I'm looking for here... Romulans, I guess.
