You have to use the glowing crystal key you got from the elven sorceress Ellellimmelle in sublevel 7d. It won't work if you just try to use the key because it has to be charged with love beforehand. You have to fill your heart with love first, then focus the love into the key using the tensegrity powder. (The powder is a rare random drop from zombie dracoliches.) Why couldn't you figure this out yourself? Honestly, go back to playing Minesweeper, yeesh.
