Apparently it's VASTLY improved, so that not only are enemy scrub soldiers a real threat even on normal level, but your allies will now routinely rack up as many kills as you do (and in a general sense, you won't tally NEARLY as many kills as you do in DW3). Some people dislike the idea that you can no longer wade into hordes of enemies, do one combo and slaughter every sucker in sight, but others welcome the new challenge. Personally, I think I'll enjoy the game, because whether or not the following is a side effect of the improved AI, I still am rejoicing over this fact: many people are saying that the enemy archers are no longer SO FUCKING IRRITATING. No longer will I be forced to flee from a battle because some archers that I can't even motherfucking see or attack due to the draw-in problem will be pelting me with 5,250,250250,12501250540 arrows per second even though I'm in the very center of a huge fucking crowd of enemies, only then to have them kill me as I'm running away because, again, they apparently use etheral ghost arrows of INSTANT MOTHERFUCKING DEATH or some shit that can fly through enemies, allies, hills, horses, and walls to hit me with unerring precision. If there's one thing about DW3 that can drive me to tears, it's coming SO CLOSE to winning a level on very hard difficulty, playing so good for so long, only to get killed by an enormous barrage of arrows as I vainly try to get anywhere near the enemy commander. |
