The show had lots of photos of real USAF aircraft with pilots standing in front, etc. I'm pretty sure I wasn't on drugs that day . . .

That flying pancake is interesting, but it petered out in 1948 and was inteneded for the Navy. What I'm talking about is 50s or 60s aircraft for the USAF. They weren't perfect flying saucers either, though, and had plane bits sticking off them in a simillar way to the pancake.

The frisbee is of course alien technology.
