Hey, I didn't pay for the meal. I never do. We split it. It's bitchy but I'm upfront about that and while it makes things more difficult initially, it makes everything that comes later easier.

Fuck YEAH! Taiwanese mothers wake themselves up every couple of hours to roll their babies on their sides while they're sleeping so gravity (I guess) will flatten their heads until they're beautifully thin. My old GF would cuss her mother out (behind her back) for ruining her life by not rolling her on her side enough while she was a child and consequently causing her to have too round a face and condemning her to become an accountant. Her face was quite round but I came up with all kinds of ways of hiding that (for my sake as much as hers), like wearing a 3/4 width fringe so she has enough length at the sides just past the tip of each eyebrow to run hair down her cheeks and cut an inch off either side of her face. Or, you can tie the fringe into a bob on top and have a bit of hair fall across the ears to buy you some length, or just wear a bunch of cute, wide hats. There are plenty of options.
So I'm playing with this Taiwanese girl's hair as I'm telling her all this and she's driving me home. A lot of girls don't know what the fuck they're doing, and rather than lying to them and pretending they're not ugly like so many stupid motherfuckers, if you acknowledge their ugliness but come up with effective ways of minimising it, they'll love you.
