Still, I'm not with Zseni's contention that man can live by BitTorrent alone. As has been stated, about a dozen times, BitTorrent is only now coming into its own and as a result it will soon die. It doesn't matter. It will find a new shape. What is great about BitTorrent of now are the obsessive compulsives who cling to it. I have a dozen BitTorrent sites all specializing in some bizarre niche, such as MySpleen.net which despite its unremittingly gay love of Cartoon Network, is at least incredibly anal over that which it does gather, so much so that I stop by on the off-chance there may be something I like. Still, it is primarily for introducing to that which I may not know as opposed to what I may want.
The ease and utility of emule and soulseek serves purely to flesh out all of my specialized and disgustingly boring tastes. Neither has everything I need, and even together I'll not find everything. I doubt I'd want to.
So where exactly are you disagreeing with me? You and Zseni should form a team to have arguments about points no one disputes. |
