It really pisses me off that some marketing exec thinks I want to buy a Hummer. They played one of my favorite songs! >:[

I am not considering buying a Hummer, and fuck you for even thinking I am.

This is cool but for it to work, you've got to hate cars. Good people hate trucks, but I've got nothing against mid-range Japanese sedans, and it seems to me they're doing most of the musical damage. That said, sedans are kind of a symbol of settling down and making rational, safe choices, and being an adult, so if you're over 25, don't earn more than 50k, and aren't in a long term relationship, sedan commericials will ruin your music.

So, the problem is you (and to a lesser extent me)! Grow the fuck up. A Camry is nothing to fear. I bet someone with a house doesn't worry about this shit.

I have a house and I don't worry about it, so I guess you're right. A lot of car commercials have good music, and the only thing that really bugs me is that I've been spotted and tagged by the marketing guys.

I forget the exact quote, but somebody was talking about how they had crowd control set up at a Books concert, and the reviewer guy remarked something like "What do they think we're gonna do? Start furiously syncing our Outlook calendars with our PDAs?" Moral: we listen to yuppie music. Accept it as a fact of life and you'll live longer.
