Some of my friends would "discover" Jimi Hendrix and The Doors and Creedence in high school and each time I would start rolling my eyes because they were now praising the music of my parents, and talking as if I hadn't heard all this to death. I realized later that I was just jealous of course, jealous of their virgin ears. But my whore ears were still virgin in other areas, so while I was listening to Helmet and Fudge Tunnel, they older guys couldn't PSH me hard enough, because Big Black had already done it!!!
For some reason you can never get sick of The Beatles though. |
