suck at HAVING FUN you mean! by FABIO 11/01/2004, 8:48pm PST I'm glad to finally see all the mysterio trolls start putting some effort into things around here. I dicked around with Deadly Alliance for about 20 minutes before firing up Konquest mode, where the game told me I had to memorize which of the 30 five-step moves arbitrarily flowed together for combos, then memorize them again for each character. It was at that point I asked, "why bother?" If I had the patience for that shit I'd go practice chords and become a rock star. Unlike plucking away at guitar strings for hours, Deadly Alliance had no payoff to all the hard study work other than being able to competently play a fighting game that was 100 times harder to get into than Smash Brothers, yet contained only 1% of the fun.
