Five to four, counting yourself. by Worm 11/16/2006, 11:06pm PST
It's a huge step up. My major problem with NWN also was the one henchman shit, apparently it's be modded to hell in back, so maybe this is addressed?

I think you'll really like it NWN2. It plays like SKO KOTOR, which is annoying because you need to swap out party members often to see if you're doing a quest which will up their influence. It's kind of annoying, there's a easy influence editor built into the console, so I'm just going to whip that out in a bit to start up everyone's vision quest. There are enough reactions for race to make it interesting to play something a little more peculiar than the nondescript human or half-elf bard. Though with the prestige classes your gay bard can quickly turn into a duelist or Eldritch Knight. So, it's good if you have a change of mind. It suffers a bit from a lack of variety in certain parts. You'll often get shipped from dungeon to dungeon which are all rather poorly designed. However, apart from those few parts where you're just dragging along the whole thing really shines.

By the way, I meant that QT3 argues that the 3.5 D&D rules make a better game than the ones in BG1 and BG2, I think a few idiots even cited that as a reason for playing neither and preferring IWD 2 as a proper use of the Infinity Engine. Not sure though. I usually just scan the threads and imagine them saying stuff.

Just because it's D&D, do dragons need to be in the game? by Worm 11/21/2006, 12:38am PST NEW
