| Suspiria's a movie especially susceptible to the whole "where you watch it" phenomena. The first time I saw it was during the day on the sci fi channel with intermittent commercials and I thought it was the stupidest fucking thing I'd ever seen. The second time I rented it for a laugh and watched it with headphones alone in a dark room and it scared the crap out of me. The third time I watched it was halloween in a room full of rowdy drunks and it sucked again. I imagine that movie works best in a theater. | ||||
