I don't argue that the first one was flawed, but it had that unforgettable opening scene, not to mention the excruciating scene where everyone has to climb through the trapped room without making a sound. If nothing else, cube's worth reccomending for the great sense of tension behind it. Cube 2 is just BOOOORING. Case in point: the opening scene is virtually the same as cube 1, with a girl we'll never see again in the film waking up and exploring. Only in this film, instead of being killed by some nasty deathtrap when she enters the next room, she falls UP! Snore.
