I gave doors as an example of a different feature. It's that you can create - or play - new levels and all the things you can do.
I created a level - I've been working on it off-and-on for about 5 years - that was meant to be a demonstration of all of the displayable textures from 1 to about 1200. It has 12 major rooms plus teleporters, long ramps and staircases connecting rooms, and an underground service tunnel connecting them. I was going to put in a tram to carry people from area to area only I found out you can't have a tram if you have other rooms (sectors) that cross over or under the room it uses even though they're at different heights and don't touch. It was fun designing and building.
Even without the tram it would make a tremendous fighting platform for deathmatch as it would take hours to search. |
