it is possible she had a couple of positives and "miscarried" -- where miscarriage is really "late period" for an extremely early pregnancy. I once saw a positive line, and started my cycle the next day.
but it is a very clear time progression and she wouldn't have negatives back and forth inbetween positives. do you know if she has a consistent schedule or if she's erratic? if she's consistent, the only way this could be true is if she saw inconclusive positives soon after her period was due, then started to consistently show negative. almost invariably this would coincide with her period starting, as well, so I maintain the most likely explanation is that she skipped a period (characteristically or not) and decided to see what she could squeeze out of it. |
