...because she foolishly used her parent's bathroom to do the pregnancy tests and was caught by her very religious Mum. Only 2 of the 7 tests she's taken so far have been positive. She had blood and urine tests done today at the hospital (her Mum took her (her Father still doesn't know.)) and we get those results back on Friday. I wish I knew for sure one way or the other. I mean, the odds of two false positives are pretty slim, but I'll happily clutch at straws because it's all I can do.
The thing we're freaking out about now is that there was blood in her urine about a week after our unprotected sex. She was sure it was a urinary tract infection because her friend gets them all the time, so we googled it and discovered that Amoxycillin can be used to treat it. I still have a shitload of that left, so she took 10 pills over 3 days. The doctor told her antibiotics are very bad to take during pregnancy. I told her if the kid has some kind of defect, I want to abort. She says she can't and if it's defective she'll become a monk and raise the kid herself and never talk to me again. Her best friend is a Lama so I don't think she's joking, but I also think she's too much of a princess to follow through.
Fucked up as it is, it calms me to know that Jonny Knoxville got a girl pregnant at 25 and still went on to do cool things. How's he for a role model? |
