Why haven't you made a big deal about being a girl? There are heaps of Canadians here. You could be special. I had a look at your bird video again and your fingers look a bit fat, so that's a concern, but if you'd kept that to yourself and said a more few girly things every so often, you could be somebody. Don't you want to be important? It's time to start doing whatever it takes. Go heavy on the girlish anecdotes.
As for PE, I'd walk away from anything with heights. When I tell people that heights are my scariest thing, they usually say, "Isn't that funny because you're so tall!", but being tall actually makes heights more scary because of the relatively smaller guardrails. If a normal person slips on a 6th story escalator, their centre of gravity will be below the handrail, so they'll bounce back onto the stairs. I'd go over the rails like they didn't exist, so it's a danger to me but not to you. After the 3rd or so floor of large multi-story mall escalators, I freeze up and once off, I rush to the furtherest end of the closest store and stare at the back of a packet of M&M's or the details of souvenir sailing ship for 30 seconds or until I can get my shit together. People think it's funny and that I'm playing it up, but I'm truly scared. |
