Actually, Dexter's girlfriend broke up with him assuming that he was cheating on her, even though he wasn't. So that night (or the next), he immediately fucks the other chick, which means it isn't cheating, until the next day when Rita is like I WAS NOT FAIR AND I SHOULD HEAR YOU OUT and Dexter realizes he wasn't really broken up but the girl was just angry at him for a night, and Dexter does not understand that because you see he is a serial killer and is diagnosed with assburgers disease, he does not properly understand some other people's behavior assburgianly.
