Personally, I'm out. Because not only did the show snuff out its last ray of sunshine, it did so in a way that felt like a direct act of hostility against the audience itself.
Haha, so sorry to see her go. Maybe now the show won't be "an off-kilter procedural slapstick comedy" about juggling family and responsibility and maybe it'll be more like Dexter.
Fuck, I totally don't have time for this, but let's just take a BRIEF dip into the 310 reply crazy at TWoP. Surprisingly most of the initial posts are from people who are shocked, but still celebrating Rita's death. It looks like the Rita-heavy season 3 and 4 really had a backlash effect on TWoP since we last checked in. Also we're not seeing the initial pro-Rita posts because any Rita fan would not be able to get to the keyboard very quickly because they were blubbery messes. And they were also crying. But finally on page 2...

That was below the belt. I feel sick to my stomach. In addition to that not really being the "imaginative writing" we were all hoping for... it was a terribly insenstive way to get rid of that character.
I'm done with this show and I hope I can convince my boyfriend not to bother watching this season. He loves Rita more than I do :(
Shame on the writers. Not just because they apparently suck at writing but because they killed off a character without giving her at least a good season. Pathetic and sad. I absolutely hate this show forever! Rant over.
Your boyfriend is gay. You should've known this already because you're way too fat for him, but better late than never.

Trinity's murders are so psychologically horrifying, in addition to being so gruesome. Now I have to go to sleep and go to work tomorrow? Yeesh.
So now I guess we will have damaged Deb and damaged Dexter raising damaged Harrison. With Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter being married IRL, that should be very interesting.
Fiction and fantasy are practically the SAME at this point! *calls in sick*

How can this show get better now? It seems stupid. What is it going to be a love affair between Deb and Dexter now? Raising baby Harrison together? Gag me. This was the cruelest thing I think I've ever seen a TV show do. It's hurting me so deeply just hearing about it. I didn't want to watch the episode for myself without knowing and I'm glad I know cause I refuse to watch it now.
There's enough BS in real life. This kind of tragedy should have been painful for everyone to watch and I'm floored that people think this is an improvement to the show. The way it ended sounds so absolutely gruesome! :(
SHE DIDN'T EVEN WATCH IT. Anyway, here's where I point out that people probably shouldn't get their dose of uplifting happiness to get through their "BS real life" by watching a show about an insane serial killer.
Ok, skipping to page 19...

I kind of thought that the amount of blood was Dexter's perception, rather than the reality. The blood on the floor triggered his past experience....and so on. Certainly when he was carrying the baby out, it's outfit had a bit of blood on it but not huge amounts i didn't think.
Imagine not being able to understand a television show. |
