My token stab at COUNTER: I like how Fussbett gets so much mileage out of the umbrage women feel at recognizing how suboptimal they are. In Zseni's universe women would remain unfazed about being not-hot-enough-to-throw-down-on-beds-and-raped (all heterosexual intercourse is rape), because they have a lot of other shit going on. There's no time to worry about how men don't dig you when you've got to get to the range by 5pm and you don't get off work until noon! There's only like 4 hours left to fix some kind of five course lunch and get over to the track and play the ponies! Accounting for commute time anyway.
In Zseni's universe, the problem isn't that the women are fat. The problem is that they give a shit about what television shows say about their fatness. |
