Re: 1080p Widescreen LCD TV advice? by Mr. Kool 07/30/2007, 2:08pm PDT Stay away from Westinghouse and Samsung. Both companies make screens built to fail. Mostly they won't power on or have lines/artifacts. Samsung LCD screens for PCs are great and have a 3 year warranty, go figure. Sony, Sharp and Pioneer (plasmas only) have been good standbys since LCD screens started going past 30 inches. Mr. Kool
