I didn't notice this $1000 difference. So now the 46" Sony is back in the running! Furcifer told me (in the above post) that the DVI-HDMI adapter is working great for him on the Sharp Aquos. Thanks! INC said "fuck 1080p" because he's heard that you have to be a real video nerd to notice a difference. He didn't seem to give two shits about my forward thinkingness.
