It definitely had weak writing in a lot of parts by Fahbs 07/18/2007, 8:14pm PDT
Ham fisted metaphors, blatant exposition ("Allow me to make a blatant statement about that passing refugee bus that anyone living here would already know"), and way too many cheap pandering LOL lines ("Your breath stinks", "Some day, huh?"). Plus I got the sneaking suspicion that the whole thing was a product by a virginal scriptwriter. Having had no real relationships of his own, he only had what he'd seen in movies to draw on. This gave us such stock gems as "Go ahead, run away! Just like you always do!". Plus one time in college at a party he saw a couple pass ping pong balls with their mouths, so that goes in too.

If only there were children in the world, then there'd be peace and no religious extremism, terrorism, immigrant injustice, or jihads. This further supports the virginal screenwriter that's never had kids theory.
