Speechless! I think the second link says it all, the clip ending and returning to Hannity's non-laughing face, "...that's the way things ought to be". <-- good indicator of non-comedy. What is hilarious is seeing how ATTACKED by the Daily Show conservatives feel.

Why are conservatives not funny? You'd think slamming hippies would be easy (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6) but apparently it takes a genius. The question of why conservatives aren't funny is probably a well trafficked topic, so I'll turn to the same blog that most of my Google News results also cited: It’s Time for Conservatives to Take Comedy Seriously. The author explains that right wing comedians don't take comedy seriously, right wing comedians are TOO NICE and POLITICALLY CORRECT to make a proper jokes and that finally the right wing is too serious about fighting terrorism to be able to make light of the issue. It's actually sad to see that this is what he thinks. Also sad: Dennis Miller always being mentioned as the conservative comedian while the Blue Collar Comedians are always shut out.
Right beside this quote on page two:
Nowadays, we won’t dare do cartoons about Osama and his ilk lest we tick them off. Are you kidding me? We’re trying to kill the terrorists, right? Let me see if I get this correct: we can kill them, but we can’t insult them with cartoons or sitcoms?
