Very well. Just curious if those two were an improvement over his earlier stuff, because honestly I couldn't make it all the way through either Bottlerocket or Rushmore.


If you didn't like Rushmore at all, there is a strong chance that you will not like any of it. I can understand the not liking of it, though I can't relate to that. Wes Anderson very much on the Joel and Ethan Coen axis of filmmaking: if a movie looks great and people say and do things that would make an ideal movie, it's okay if nobody is actually, you know, "acting." They're definitely not acting like people, they're all just types and caricatures. The movies are like cartoons, but without animation.


I love Coen brothers movies though.


What's your opinion of Napolean Dynamite? Because it's kind of the same thing.

I guess people just say that because every word that comes out of his mouth is funny.



Much like when INC polled the forum on why anyone likes Jacky Chan, I'm on a quest to hunt down why either of the Wilsons are hailed as comic gods. Circular reasoning won't solve my quest.
