| Also: the San Antonio Saints? Comments, Jonesy (link)? Clearly, Haslett is the worst coach in the league rignt now. The idea that anyone would hire him for something other than a positions coach sounds idiotic. Hopefully, Benson will reject this proposal and Haslet can pursue his noncareer elsewhere.
I guess I have no opinion about the Saints moving. I don't really care. But I used to kinda like the team, back in the nineties, and it'd suck if they became the new Bengals (losing seasons for over a decade or whatever). :( In unrelated football news, the '72 Dolphins are apparently aware that everyone in the world hates them and are now trying to be nice and gracious. We wouldn't have minded the Colts going undefeated! Honest! Although we hate the Raiders (Bob Griese here -- what about the Cowboys, Bob? Or the Jets?). But the Colts are great! Who do they think they're fooling, anyway? Also: will ESPN report on the nationwide champaign cork-popping on the day the last 72 Dolphin dies? Just curious. |
