I've colour-coded the updates based on their goodness. Also for Christmas effect. You must be liking this update plan a lot, Fabio, being the foot soldier that you are. I, on the other hand, just bought a Logitech Wingman Extreme Twist joystick, so that I may take my BF2 playing into phase 3: jets.

I guess I've gotta squeeze in my jet play quickly, before 1.12 nerfs all air. I don't see a "make bombs more accurate" point on that update list, nor a "make bombs not kill your teammates so much", which are two updates I desperately need.
Let me tell you though, BF2 has a lot to explore, in the dissertation student "it takes 100 hours to master" way. You could be totally content never using a jet for more than a taxi across the map, or you can buy a joystick and discover the second game that takes place above the battle, the dogfighting. 30 other players from across North America, scuttling around below, oblivious to the struggle that goes on above them... except for the occasional bomb. It's a metaphor for world politics, really. World politics where someone is constantly locked onto me and then I crash into the fucking smokestack as I try to shake it. |
