I need to know. Right now I'm playing Evil Genius, which feels like a Dungeon Keeper in the 60's Bond vein, and I love it.

Yet I want something of the magnitude of say, Galactic Civilizations. Was that good and if not, what is?

To help narrow this, know I did not like MOO 3 but loved M00 2.

While not a 4x game or even strictly a strategy game, Space Rangers 2 has some brilliant moments. German import (Anglish language though). The DVD also comes with the original Space Rangers, which I never heard of nor bothered to install yet. I've been recommending this to people that like games. This does not necessarily include all the readers of Caltrops.

I DID install and even played Age of Empires III for a couple of hours, but can't for the life of me remember any of it. So that's my review of AoE III.

Civ IV comes out the 25th I believe. Hearing mixed things about it, mostly positive but all of it from WHORES, so waiting and hoping.
