Engineers need to get more points for repairing. Support/medic get a point for every picked up kit they litter the ground with.

I think the medic healing point is given for healing at least half of a damaged player, not per med kit picked up. Regardless, I fully expect medic to get nerfed in the next patch since I'm having a great time healing the sick and killing the enemy. I feel like I'm one of those zealots in the Warhammer universe, handing out bandages with one hand, hot lead with the other. I also have a history of attaching myself to the characters-to-be-nerfed; Lion in VF3, Sorc in Diablo2, Yun in SF3, etc.

I'm having an absolute blast with the Strike on Kandar(sp?) map, an alright time on a couple others, and yawning over about a third of the maps. It all boils down to Fussbett's law of time investment. Why bother spending 5 minutes slogging through mile long swamps, island hopping, or trying to navigate all the impassible terrain and five hundred different elevation levels of the Kubra Dam map (75% of that map is spent climbing stairs and ladders) when I can just hop into Strike on Kandar's stalingrad level close quarters urban meatgrinder and wrack up a bajillion points every round? Especially if you're going for rank.

I think everyone agrees with you, because I've fought in countless Karkand battles, but still haven't even SEEN the dam, nor one other Chinese map.

My beef with the boring maps is water. Fuck fucking water aleady. A great use of water is for an aircraft carrier ala Gulf of Oman. The occasional beach raid or carrier strike is fine, or using water as a boundary, but otherwise water represents SLOWNESS in any map. Do we like driving around those rubber rafts (or "Kevorkian Machines" as I call them)? No. No we don't. Those Cambodian maps from BFV would be great in BF2 with a little expansion. Someone should get on that.

Have you all tried the video camera missiles in the Apache yet? Is that awesome or what?

The UAV on Karkand is incredible. I'm throwing grenades around corners for kills like I'm wallhacking, except it's totally legit. Capping a flag alone isn't a problem when the UAV is telling me where the 5 attackers are coming from.

Do engineers repair bridges? Are they repairable?
