I feel your pain, Wromg, but I think the squad acceptance will increase as people realize it's value. I'm guilty myself of ignoring squads during half of my demo playing until I just tried it out one day for the sole purpose of playing with a real life friend. It's just new for many people.

I'd rather see teamkill penalties change the number of votes required to kick a person.

You might be onto something here!
