Do you own the Book of Vile Deeds? There is one drastic example how to get around armor Spell Failure with a new magical item. Spell disruption via concentration is way stupid imho, since it depends on the even more stupid initiative rules.
My friend has it. I'll check it out. But it's odd that you hate the initiative rules. What's the matter with em?
I come from the 2nd edition crowd, when I saw "Roll Initiative once, then use that figure for the rest of the combat" I nearly puked. Also no modifications to INI besides DEX and Improved Initiative? Fuck that.
Dude, it works. It makes sense. Getting ready to puke over this just makes me question your sanity. They even say "don't do it if you don't want to". As if you needed to be told that.
Just out of curiosity, what else would YOU include as modifications for initiative? |
