So Fabs has successfully scared me away from TO by using this analogy. I hope he can sleep easier now.
I'm trying to get into FFT, and so far it's decent, but it isn't wowing me. I guess these tactics games just aren't my style, man. Dynasty Tactics also seemed *interesting* but not enthralling. There always seems to be a bunch of stupid, boring shit to do in between the really fun battles. And if DT is typical of this kind of game, then I *know* that in FFT I'm eventually going to discover some skill/tactic/ability that is ridiculously overpowered, so that each battle becomes a race to use that skill first - whomever does so effectively wins at that moment. I hope I'm wrong. |
