If a table is being thrown up, that's a scripted sequence, but if they're hiding behind it, that's probably AI.
In Half-Life 2, though, those zombies will pick up and throw, or kick barrels at you, and that's AI. Zombie sees barrel, and it's AI knows it can pick it up, does that, throws it at you, and so on. Even though the guy making the maps has to put the barrel there, the zombie should already know what to do with it. |
