Would playing as Raiden gay it up?
Yes. For the record, I thought MGS2 playable (having never played the first), but in retrospect and after much criticism of my support I have come to realize that Kojima's cover-ups for Raiden's existence ('He's a character foil for Snake') are just part of the international Japanese conspiracy to make us all fags (see Xenosaga, FF8-10, Wild Arms 3, MGS2 etc).
Kojima is "supervising" the Silicon Knights team responsible for the remake. We'll see if a less cringe-inducing game results from, say, keeping him on a completely different continent.
I'd be happy if they just dressed up the graphics, added at the very least the new moves in MGS2, and expanded the VR missions accordingly. And sold it for 29.99. But they won't, of course. Let's just hope they take some cues from the successful Resident Evil remake (note: not to be confused for the piece of shit that was Zero) and keep it simple. |
