Parasite Eve 2 had Coke machines. The things were completely useless -- you couldn't tip them over and crush a mutated dog, or even, I dunno, buy a Coke and restore some health.

Using them to unlock a better game (like the first Parasite Eve) would've been nice -- that or just not releasing the sequel.


Hired it for a night and got to the bit where you're trying to kick the agent out of the crashing plane. Decent fun, average graphics, good cutscenes, not enough spikey Ambien tentacularity and rotten fuck zombies. (such a cliche, i know)

Like JK2, it makes you want to be good at the combat, but lets you get away with random button mashing. Worth a rental. Think Syphon Filter with specular highlighting and a massive freight train movie license pushing it towards a cliff of money.
