Uhhh.....I do? Way to make that call for the rest of us. I know the knee jerk reaction to anyone saying "caltrops sucks" is to call him a moron, but this guy has actually been bringing up valid points, and like he said everyone calling him a fag isn't going to fix anything.

What new faces? I haven't seen anyone besides the OMM crowd. Any new names are probably the same people posting under new nicks (and 80% of those are mischief maker). I'm not hoping for this site to explode into SA mass mainstream forum stupidity, but it'd be nice to see SOME fresh ass blood. Right now it seems the site is settling down into one big inside joke; it's nice to reminisce over old times, but you can't keep toasting each other to "remember when..." stories, eventually someone's going to get bored and go home. Someone is going to snap eventually and make a gay "I'm leaving!" post, and then there were nine, with no chance of any replacement.

Because Planet Hate was just a temporary staging area until caltrops was online?
The fucking game reviews are in discussion. How many reviews did OMM post annually?
They also had content other that the reviews, we don't.
But fuck, we are not all playing the over-jaded gamer either. Yes, since we are discussing games in a very, “not being paid to do it,†fashion, we do tend to be more cynical about the epic bullshit hype that surrounds them.
I agree with this. We say games suck because they suck, not because we're gunning to destroy everything coming down the line. The constant stream of bullshit from developers makes any sane gameplayer cynical.
Interesting discussion either occurs naturally or it does not. Brilliant discussion is uncommon and needs time to evolve. You being a shrill critic might serve as a thermometer, but how about a manifesto that can be reviewed instead of jumping one asshole at a time shrieking, “No! You still don’t get it! MORON! I Don’t Like This! WRONG!â€
That would be nice, but it'd never be implimented until this place gets better organized.
