| I used to enjoy both mescaline and acid. Very different experiences.
On mescaline, everything is funnier. I have had minor halucinations on mescaline most of which might fall into the category of creative interpretations of things you are actually seeing. E.g., neon wood. I found myself noticing universal patterns when I was on mescaline and each trip had its own theme such as cycles. My most spiritual moment on mescaline came when I figured out how to communicate with leaves. It was on their terms, though, and too abstract to remember much about when I came down. Great after-trippies on mescaline. I only did acid once and, for me, it made everything crystal clear. Once I got over my initial fear that I had forgotten how to speak during an Aliens double feature, I was highly functional on it. Aside from everything being intensely beautiful in its detail I also gained mastery over my body enabling me to do things I cannot do straight such as drinking a large cup of beer in one swallow and playing the greatest game of ultimate frisbee ever. Oh yeah, I was able to slow my perception of time during the ultimate game, freezing the frisbee in midair and giving me all the time in the world to decide what to do with it. Your experiences may vary. And yes, this may be the gayest post ever but he asked and I haven't thought about it in years so indulge me. --Rb |
