Can you "win" Breakout? Can you "lose" it? There are ten times as many possible outcomes to a game of Breakout as there are digits on the score counter. Some of those outcomes are clearly more desirable than others (well, obviously - that's what makes it a game in the first place), but, absent competition, can any of them truly be said to represent a victory or a defeat? I guess what I'm saying is, if you're playing games by yourself, you're already a loser. No amount of CONGRATURATIONS and virtual kisses from virtual princesses are going to change that.
