Getting fun by fabio 12/29/2012, 10:08pm PST Shit was it a nightmare getting the controls to work though. After applying all the fixes I ended up getting a generic PS3 controller (Steelseries 3GC). Downloaded xbox360ce and it worked fine with Dead Rising 2 (though this controller has the universal quip of inverting the sticks by default). Dark Souls has some major issues with this! The controller will not work at all with 360ce running. Auto detects and works fine without it, but now I can't remap everything and every button seems swapped from its 360 controller equivalent. Getting used to it takes some time. DSfix totall fucks any controller attempt though. This game is reminding me of the RPG equivalent of God Hand: a tough but fair and very satisfying mechanic that the game will never tell you about. The tutorial is less than bare bones and you're left to comb wikis. Sucks you can't reset your stats! System encourages you to spend souls the instant you can level up. Who knows if I'll want to focus on str or dex for a later weapon or magic! Two questions: What does the equipment icon/stat next to Equip Load mean? (looks like a foot in front of a pentagon) How do I want to be spending my humanity? Seems like the most limited resource. I take it I want to rekindle every bonfire I can?
