I read the comic after having seen the movie, and the main thing that jumped out at me was that they cut out two minor characters that were very important: the newsvendor and the therapist. In the movie, when the big ending arrives, nothing at all happens to any characters that you know anything about. The big twist happens offscreen and has no weight whatsoever.
I considered it to be an above-average superhero movie, but the average superhero movie is really terrible. |
