PC version audio may be fucked up? by Rafiki 09/02/2012, 4:37pm PDT Personally, I consider this a result of improper speaker settings in Windows, but I was arguing with someone who says this type of thing has never ever been a problem in any other game and Dark Souls is the first one it's affected them on. It seems like an easy fix (it's in the video description on Youtube). I didn't have this problem at all because I specifically set my soundcard to output to headphones instead of any kind of surround, so I never noticed and the ambient audio is properly output. I don't know if my soundcard is doing some behind the scenes magic or if it truly is just people not correctly configuring their speaker setup.
