I'm pretty sure I said the reverse: that Robin slotted nicely into the niche carved out for the Thief, at least until he was yanked away and made to stand over by the woods with the Ranger. If you want to make the argument that the very existence of the Ranger and his derivatives - the Hunter, the Archer, etc. - hasn't had a profound impact on the definition of what constitutes a Thief or Rogue in modern RPGs, I would love to hear it! |
