Maybe they've gotten less fruity with rage, i dunno. I just remember a coconut monkey themed quake 2 mod i had to avoid and that was about it. This was back when the magazine was 600 pages long and entire weeks could go by before needing new can-reading material.

You also forgot THE VEDE's annoying vanity bits plastered over a third of every issue , but that's only been for the past few years so maybe you were lucky enough to miss out on it.


Looks that way. I picked one up recently and thought it was a bit strange that this techie dork was getting his very own VEDERNATOR battletech tabletop robot. and its not like they were just giving him one for his very own, they were advertising it. For people to buy.
