As far as the validation, I guess Kotaku is filling in the blanks, because when it says "loading downloaded content" it's loading the downloaded content, so it loads the content, you load your game and you have the content. It's just a wrapper for loading the .esm file based on the account, therefore there is a little hiccup between downloading it, and the game seeing the content. You can't load your game before it loads the downloaded content. However that hiccup happens once when you first get it, so you just wait at the title screen, or restart the game once (it was once for me), and it says "loading downloaded content".
I mean if what they were saying was accurate you wouldn't be able to save in the Operation Anchorage, close the game, open the game later, and load up your stuff instantly. I mean it is Kotaku so maybe if you read it as a description of a videogame by a caveman it makes sense, but I'm not making any such concessions for faggots. |
