I am not 100% certain I went to the right spot for the mod. I activated the radio, as I heard that you get the location based on that. I saw no new signal. I left the building I was clearing out before I downloaded the mod and wandered around a little, but still saw no broadcast.
I fast traveled around, hoping that would kick it in, and it did. There was a fight between some snotty armored dudes and Super Mutants. I'll give the Super Mutants this much: they are always happy to see me at least, gleefully shouting, "THERE YOU ARE!" whereas the Brotherhood of Steel guys react as if I'm either scum they picked out of their holo-boots, or more embarrassingly, an active retro-gamer.
I had to restart, as some Brotherhood guys got in my way and took some Chinese assault bullets that I had lined up in VATS for the mutants. It was unfortunate that they jumped in front of my gun, but on the other hand, it was comforting to know that if I rig the election and get a Super Mutant elected as prez in the Republic of Dave, he'll have his own built-in Secret Service made up from these people.
At this point it was two in the morning, and I had to go to sleep. Based on the screenshot of the iced-over wasteland that was displayed when I was downloading it, it looks like it will eventually be a nice change of pace, at least visually. So, so far I give it a 7/10.
