I appreciate those guys in the UK suffering through all this shit while I'm at work, so I can benefit from their experience when I get home. I can't even enjoy the impotent nerdrage of calling for the head Windows Live guy to be fired for making me have to copy my saves around since it already happened. What a fucking mercy killing that was.
I also dislike the arguments for having the save games of all games be on the C: because they want people using the administrator function correctly in Vista. This appears to be some save-the-children bullshit, where dad can create junior his own login and prevent him from being able to double-click and enter the Capital Wasteland. Unlike Tycho, I have solved this particular issue by demanding that any game where it is possible to do this shit:
... should default to only allow you to play as the administrator, thus letting you keep your save games exclusively in e:gamesfallout3. Anyway, whatever, it's not as irritating as a stubbed toe, so I guess it's not really worth complaining about.
